Snowbody Gonna Slow Me Down- Oh no! I got to keep on moving!!
I thought of this song and how it reminds me of Evan as we celebrated our first really big snow of the season here in East Tennessee. Evan has double ear infections, but he sure didn't let that slow him down from joining in the fun. It must be a third child thing, but he has to do everything that Tristan and Ty do. If he is not in the middle of them, he just isn't happy! We don't see too much snow here, heck in fact I believe it has been quite a few years since we have seen any snow. The kids were ecstatic to come home early from school Monday. Ya see, here in the South we just don't know how to handle all the white stuff. School closes at the drop of a hat here, which is fine with me. We have had 2 1/2 days of playing, lounging, resting, napping, eating(not such a great thing for me), and just loving on each other. It has been a great time. I love spending these times with the kiddos while they explore new things. What can I say, I was just as excited as they were to see snow.Evan, loved it outside. I bundled him up for a classic picture moment. He couldn't stop shrieking with excitement and shaking his hands up and down. Although, that could have been cause his hands were numb! Just kidding! I didn't leave him out that long. Isn't he the cutest?
T & T had a blast playing, building a snowman, and having a snowball fightAs much as I love our snow days, I am also grateful that the weather changes fast. It is supposed to be 60 degrees here on Sat. WOO HOO! come on Spring.
As a side note although I can not give many details yet, please pray for a very dear co-worker of mine who unexpectedly lost her husband yesterday. It is a truly sad time for her, and I pray that our Lord wraps His arms around her and she truly feels His presence. Until next time....
